This weekend we said farewell to Bianca, Ginette, Juliette and Sofie, or second group of Be More volunteers from Holland.

These volunteers come to work with us for a minimum of four weeks helping to do whatever needs to be done. They also have the opportunity to apply their vocational skills where they can (nursing, social work, etc) but they generally get involved with the basics – helping with the daily activities of the Educare kids, soup kitchen, homework, practical projects, etc. They typically also do some fundraising before they come to help meet some of the needs we have.

It is so wonderful to have them and the contribution they make in such simple ways is enormous. We are so grateful!
